Our bhavana

Transformation (and our 200 hour) take time

The depth of the teachings and the breadth of their application render this investment (time, energy, finacial) worthwhile. I will take your hand. I will hold your hand. I will gradually let you go into teaching what you learn, when you are ready.

The personal and professional value gained through your time in this incubator of Yoga Foundation's Teacher Training reveal themselves progressively, and that's why our training takes time. Our collective dedication yields a transformative experience that cannot be replicated in shorter, asynchronous trainings. As a matter of fact, this is not a sanctioned way to learn how to teach Yoga.

The premise of all we do, in Training, Courses, Classes and Therapy originates in a Vedic Chant, a Śāntiḥ Mantra.

Om saha nāvavatu

Saha nau bhunaktu

Saha vīryam karavāvahai

Tejasvināvadhi tamastu

Mā vidviṣāvahai

Oṁ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ śāntiḥ

This mantra is a prayer for collective peace, for the teacher and student, so that the teachings themselves yield the most fortuitous realities for all involved, as it is a sacred circumstance when Yoga’s teachings are being taught and learned. The bhāvana throughout all interactions is for protection. A sense of gratification beyond the senses themselves. For the elevation of courage and lightness meanwhile the challenges inherent in relationship are averted through the practice of Yama and Niyama.
