Incentive
There’s an Indian saying that without incentive, we will not take action. Patañjali himself starts his text presenting the evolved, appealing concepts within reach for one with a refined mind to incentivize us. An auspicious beginning is the theme for all things Yoga, and to make this most auspicious for you, here's a one time offer: if you apply for teacher training by August 15th, you receive a $300 discount off of the Deposit.
We are determined to offer the highest quality training on the shifting ground that is the 2020s, and you can be an integral part of our first self-paced training.
How can even those without honed, self-discipline can self pace in our new format?
Each chapter starts with an enormous concept, without which Yoga is impossible. Built into Yoga itself are the teacher student relationship and discipline. The first chapter starts with emphasis on the teacher student connection, the second with discipline. We model training after this, keeping Yoga’s essential concepts close to our heart, your heart, and at the gm heart of our training.
How do we address this?
1. A digestible schedule: We take into account the modern day mind’s shorter attention span. Each module consists of a live, four hour meeting, divided into parts. And we propose an intelligently designed between-module schedule for your home learning experience, which consists primarily of video watching.
2. Mentor classes: Your home practice process is tailored to your availability and personal needs. Once you discover the intrinsic support it builds within your daily structure, your faith in its power fuels your will to embrace it as integral to your daily life.
Accountability:
1. Homework and exams: You can’t get behind, as each Module is accompanied by homework questions that reinforce the essential material. And three exams help you and I to gauge how it’s sinking in. And ensure that it is.
2. We meet every month: By that point, all material from the previous Modules must be completed.
Discipline remains the hardest part of Yoga, until you cultivate it, and then it’s only a little easier. And we’re here to guide you through it all.
