Yoga sūtra's perspective on interconnection as an essential ingredient for mental health begins with the first sūtra, I. 1, and ends with the last sūtra, IV. 34. We need a connection with a teacher to learn Yoga, and we need a connection with the subtlest aspects of the fabric of our being to be liberated from suffering.

Noteworthy is that, throughout, connection is emphasized repeatedly - connection to what lifts you up, disconnection to what thwarts your progress. Connection to your inner conviction, connection to a higher power, connection to sacred sounds, connection to well-wishes, your breath, your senses and their impulsive choices. Connection to your mental obstacles, so you can reduce them.

Well known amongst anyone who has scratched Yoga’s surface are the social connections, such as this one we share, and the ethical principles which govern their flourishing. Ahimsā, satya, asteya, brahmacarya, aparigrahā, śauca, santośa, tapaḥ, svādhyāya and īśvara praṇidhāna recommend connection for the sake of interpersonal, personal and societal growth, and it’s in this spirit that I reach out today.

Yoga Foundation's balance is shifting, since pre-pandemic, to more virtual and fewer in person classes; hence, we have loads of unoccupied space and time here...for you or someone you think would be a good fit. We are putting out a call to our community to put on your thinking caps and help us to split this space with the right someone(s).

Our vision to facilitate health and healing in our local community through Yoga therapy, practice and education remains a priority; however, commercial rent is becoming prohibitive. Help us continue the cherished tradition of welcoming you in person, with lower overhead, so Danielle can channel her energy into the programming that brought you here and keeps you here, in whatever capacity you join us.

Includes 500 sq ft of Yoga space with a big, bright window, including entry way and bathroom. We are on the lease, you would sub lease from us as a month-to-month renter with a minimum 3 month commitment to begin. The inclusive price includes rent, internet, and cleaning costs, and we will split electric. Perfect for therapists, martial artists, herbalists, acupuncturists, dance teachers, workshop facilitators - anyone with very little equipment that wants to build or support an existing practice.
